The Airline Career Program

Foreign License Conversion

The Airline Career Program is the premier professional track offered by Atlantis Aviation that guarantees a career as an airline pilot in the US. No other flight school guarantees all three stages.

The ACP for those with foreign licenses is designed to convert and validate your foreign licenses to FAA licenses, with the ultimate goal of employment at a US airline.

Stage 1 - Start your degree and validate your licenses

During your admissions process, we will guide you through the application process for our partner university of your choice, and then through the visa application process.

Once admitted and in the US, you will start your Bachelor or Master degree and start the process of validating your foreign licenses to FAA licenses for a career as an airline pilot.

These licenses count as credits towards your degree at your university, which you will be completing simultaneously.

Students at Atlantis take 12 months to complete these licenses.

Stage 2 - Complete your degree and gain experience

The FAA mandates that airline pilots accrue 1,500 flight hours before being eligible to be hired by an airline. The most common and efficient path aspiring airline pilots take is to use their Certified Flight Instructor license to teach new students.

The Airline Career Program by Atlantis is unique in that we guarantee, in writing, placement at a flight school that will allow you to comfortably, efficiently and quickly earn the hours required to advance to Stage 3.

During this time, you earn a salary as an instructor that allows you to continue to fund your University degree.

Stage 3 - Start your airline career

Once you have earned 1,500 flight hours, you are eligible to complete your Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license, which is included in the Airline Career Program. You are ready to join the elite group of Atlantis aviators at regional and mainline airlines in the US. We are so confident in our program that we offer a written guarantee of placement at a US airline upon completion of the Airline Career Program.
